Welcome visitors,

I hope that you find what you are looking for here. Things in life come together like a puzzle we don’t really have to work at. One day many dots become a whole picture and we have a bit of clarity for at least a moment. The seeds for my love of the Green Man were sown as a child. My brothers and sisters and I  spent time  a lot of time out of doors. Year after year, we climbed higher and higher in the tree that went up a hundred feet or so into the air. Trees are a mystery. Parts of that tree were a wilderness I never explored. I still remember how we’d have to grab a small branch high up off the ground and then swing our right leg over the bigger branch below. I loved this tree and to this day I believe it left me little wrapped squares of chocolate at the roots for me to find. When I read William Anderson’s book Green Man I realized I knew of the Green Man before. He lives inside all of us. Just ask a bird………………

Live simply so that other’s can live, Mary Lee
